Dr. Heather Harris Allen is a Clinical Psychologist and Behavioral Scientist at Central Washington Family Medicine Residency in Yakima Washington. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles within the organization; as a provider, primary supervisor for Behavioral Health trainees, and clinical faculty member. She completed her doctoral training at George Fox University, residency with Alaska Psychology Internship Consortium, and fellowship at Cherokee Health Systems. She has worked in primary care and hospital settings since 2017. Specific areas of interest and experience include perinatal mental health, gender-affirming care, provider wellness, resident professional development, lifestyle medicine, and addiction medicine.
