Maria Jesus (Chus) Arrojo is a Senior Behavioral Health Integration Manager at the PPOC. In this role, Chus has contributed to developing integrated care workflows and training to help advance integration within the network.

Chus's career in integrated care spans more than a decade. She held an integrated care program director role at a federally qualified health center, where she developed an integrated pediatric program and collaborated with community organizations. She is committed to helping advance health equity through integration and has co-authored a paper on this topic.

Chus is a psychology graduate of the Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain) and completed her family therapy postgraduate education at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Springfield College (Springfield, Mass.). She has worked extensively with diverse, underserved communities throughout Western Massachusetts, providing direct care to patients and families and training and supervising clinicians.

Chus enjoys spending the summer in her hometown of Galicia, Spain, swimming on its surrounding beaches and enjoying great food, wine, and music with family and friends.
