Joining the AIMS Center in 2022, Monica has experience with training and implementation of evidenced based Integrated Care models (Collaborative Care and Primary Care Behavioral Health). Monica is a healthcare leader with leadership experience from a multitude of medical and behavioral health entities. You can hear some of her leadership insight as a podcaster on the CFHA Monthly Integrated Care Podcast. Monica received her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with a Special Education, Birth thru Kindergarten designation. She also has a Masters in Social Work from a joint program between a PWI (Predominately White Institution) named the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and HBCU (Historically Black College and University) named North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC. Monica has served on the National Board for the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), currently serves on the NASW Assurance Services Inc. Board and the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) Board.
