Speaker Short Bio
Judith Steinberg is a primary care internist and infectious disease specialist. She served as a health policy official in the US Department of Health and Human Services and led the HHS Initiative to Strengthen Primary Health Care. She has focused on integrating behavioral health and primary care in all of her health policy work.

Dr. Steinberg is currently an associate with Integrated Primary Care and is a member of the board of directors of several non-profit organizations, including, Primary Care for All Americans.

Dr. Steinberg was an associate professor of medicine, and family medicine and community health at UMass Medical School and an assistant professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. She was a Commonwealth Fund/Harvard University fellow in minority health policy and received a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University.
