Name
Enhancing Care Through Culturally Sensitive Interventions for Hispanic/Bilingual Patients Along the Texas-Mexico Border
Description

Hispanics became the largest racial and ethnic minority in the United States, yet they continue to face significant barriers to healthcare, including limited access, language difficulties, and stigma around mental health treatment. Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (IBH) effectively addresses both mental health issues and chronic conditions, but there is still a lack of culturally responsive care. This presentation will highlight interventions to improve inclusivity for Hispanic/Latinx patients. Providers will learn culturally adapted strategies and tools to deliver more equitable and effective care in integrated healthcare settings.
