Name
Expanding Single Session Therapy: A Family-Centered Model for Integrated Care
Description

This session will review the existence evidence for implementing single session therapy (SST) and family-centered care (FCC) within integrated care contexts (not exclusive to primary care). We will then describe how SST can be modified to include multiple members of the family, for both pediatric and adult patient populations, utilizing all members of the interdisciplinary care team. Finally, we will engage attendees in brainstorming how implementing family-centered single session therapy (FCSST) could positively influence clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. The intention of this session is to educate, encourage, and empower participants to return to their clinical contexts to conduct family-level outcomes research.
