Kristen Thompson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Missouri State University, where she supports the development of the university’s new clinical psychology doctoral program. She previously spent nearly seven years at Burrell Behavioral Health as System Director of Pediatric Integration and Director of Operations, Medical Integration, where she worked with community partners to expand access to behavioral health care for children. Dr. Thompson also directed Burrell’s Youth Focus Clinic, providing multidisciplinary care to children and adolescents with ADHD. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Northern Illinois University, completed her internship at the University of Michigan, and specialized in pediatric psychology during fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
