Stacey has been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maine since 2005. She has held various therapeutic roles over the years including providing therapy to all ages in outpatient mental health community settings, intensive home/community treatments to stabilize and strengthen family functioning, and targeted treatment within primary and specialty care settings. She also has managed a children’s case management program, home/community treatment program, and outpatient therapy program. Today as the director of behavioral health integration at MaineHealth, Stacey is leading and working alongside of approximately 100 behavioral health providers integrated within primary and specialty care medical practices. A significant portion of the work is on sustaining and enhancing the existing program, while always considering growth opportunities both in terms of spread and model development. Stacey was instrumental in launching the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in 2025.
Additionally, Stacey is a clinical specialist on the MaineHealth Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Resilience team where she assists in developing and sustaining pathways for screening and protocol for responding to adverse experiences as well as for mental health symptoms, including suicide. She supports the MaineHealth system in advancing its knowledge of ACEs and mental health.
