Dr. Matthew Tolliver is a primary care clinical psychologist by training. He was raised in rural Appalachia and has dedicated his professional career to providing clinical services to rural and underserved pediatric populations in primary care settings, and teaching and training interprofessional learners in those settings. He serves as the Assistant Director for the Institute for Integrated Behavioral Health and the Director of Behavioral Health in the Department of Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University. He works as a Behavioral Health Consultant and helps direct a HRSA workforce training grant aimed at training psychology, social work, and psychiatric nurse practitioner students in integrated care.
