Rosa Ruggiero is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who earned her nursing degrees from Kent State University and completed fellowships at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She was the first Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to participate in the Public and Community Psychiatry Fellowship, later joining the faculty to help expand the program to include other advanced practice providers. Rosa has worked in a variety of clinical settings and supported program development across the continuum of care, from high-acuity environments to primary care. Most recently, she led the development of an Integrated Behavioral Health Psychiatry Program at a FQHC in Southern Oregon. She is passionate about integrated behavioral health, collaborative care, and innovative community-based approaches. Outside of her professional life, Rosa enjoys outdoor adventures and quality time with loved ones.
