Dr. Cheryl Davis is a distinguished physician, healthcare executive, and community leader based in Lumberton, North Carolina. With over 13 years of experience in healthcare quality, value-based payment models, and rural health system management, she is widely recognized as a trusted advocate for equitable, patient-centered care.

Dr. Davis earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2005 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2008. She currently serves as CEO of Primary Health Choice, Inc., a leading provider of behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) services that supports thousands of individuals across North Carolina. Under her leadership, the organization has become a vital pillar of community-based care, delivering innovative, person-centered services that enhance the well-being and independence of those it serves.

In addition to her executive leadership, Dr. Davis chairs the Quality Committee for Collaborative Health Network, the largest statewide provider-led and owned behavioral health clinically integrated network in North Carolina.
