Temre Uzuncan, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist and Director of the Wright Institute’s Integrated Health Psychology Training Program (IHPTP), an APA-Accredited Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship Program that places trainees in primary care and family practice medical residency programs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Uzuncan specializes in health psychology and behavioral medicine and has dedicated her career to building a workforce development pipeline of health service psychologists in community health settings. Dr. Uzuncan currently serves as Director-at-Large for the California Psychological Association Division 1, advocating for mental health professionals and accessible services to the public. In addition, Dr. Uzuncan is a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 38, Health Psychology and serves as the Project Director/Principal Investigator of the HRSA Graduate Psychology Education (GPE) Grant 2025-28 focused on community partnerships for increased access to trauma-informed behavioral health services. Dr. Uzuncan’s interests include the intersection of neuroscience, health, mental health and complex trauma.
