Jennifer Hodgson, PhD, LMFT, is a Principal Consultant at Health Management Associates with expertise in integrated care, behavioral health workforce development, and medical education. She spent 24 years in higher education teaching and developing programs in family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, and medical family therapy. Dr. Hodgson co-developed the nation’s first doctoral program in Medical Family Therapy. She has authored and edited textbooks, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications focused on integrated care and behavioral health training and has secured millions in local and federal grant funding. She earned her PhD in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iowa State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Family Therapy at the University of Rochester.
