Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina presented her with the Donna J Stone Award in 2013 for doing everything possible to support families in their efforts to provide their children with the safe, stable, and welcoming environments they need to be successful. From her decade as a foster parent Rachel added two daughters—and now four grandchildren—to her family.
