Caroline Roberts, MD, is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She directs the Community Health Training Program (CHTP) for medical students pursuing rural and underserved primary care. She previously served as Assistant Program Director for UNC Family Medicine’s FQHC residency track.
Clinically, she provides full-spectrum care, including obstetrics and pediatrics, through UNC Family Medicine and at Prospect Hill Community Health Center in rural Caswell County. She is the recipient of a five-year HRSA grant, awarded in partnership with El Futuro and others, focused on training primary care providers in culturally competent behavioral health care for the Latine population in North Carolina.
