Dr. David Tierney graduated with his PhD in Counseling Psychology and graduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He completed his doctoral internship at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center and his postdoctoral internship at James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He currently works as Director of Behavioral Health in the James H. Quillen College of Medicine’s Center of Excellence (CoE) for HIV/AIDS.
