Michael Changaris, PsyD, is a clinical health psychologist, President-Elect of the California Psychological Association, Interim Chair of the CPA Research Committee, a CPA-PAC board member, and Chief Clinical Training Officer for the Wright Institute’s APA-accredited Integrated Health Psychology Training Program. His clinical, academic, and organizational work integrates multicultural psychology, clinical neuroscience, cultural humility, and systems thinking to advance trauma-informed care, health equity, and sustainable integrated healthcare systems. A 2018 California Health Care Foundation Leadership Fellow at UCSF, he has contributed to nationally recognized initiatives in behavioral health integration, prison reentry, opioid and chronic-pain care, suicide prevention, implicit-bias training, and evidence-based group treatment. His publications and presentations address human-centered artificial intelligence in healthcare, medication safety for older adults, trauma and resilience, somatic psychology, embodied research, and culturally responsive integrated care.
