Description

This section will highlight why working with and understanding school systems is crucial to pediatric integrated care.

Objective 1
Increase awareness of current state of educational law (IDEA, 504 plans. FAPE, FERPA)
Objective 2
Identify different approaches to collaboration with schools (school-based clinics, consultation, programs)
Objective 3
Learn how to help families advocate and receive services in schools (templates for requesting 504 plan or SPED services in school)
