Tara Budinger, PhD has been working at Santa Rosa Community Health in Sonoma County, CA for over a decade. Her interest and passion in integrated, team-based care stems from her internship in the Interdisciplinary Team Training in Geriatrics track at the VA in Palo Alto. She began working in primary care from 2000 - 2005 as one of Kaiser's earliest Behavioral Health Specialists on the Adult Primary Care team in Gilroy, CA. After several years of working in private practice in rural Colorado, she returned to California and to primary care. She is now the PCBH manager, spearheading efforts to roll out this model to all patients and providers at her FQHC.
