I’m Theresa Allen and I have been in healthcare for over 40 years, working my way from the front line to IT (applications specifically), and now back to operations. I finished my bachelor’s later in life and am sure it’s never too late to achieve what you want. My passion is people and when I found the FQHC world it felt as though my world fell into place. I currently work at Santa Rosa Community Health as a Director of Operations. I oversee the Mental Health Service line plus a few other support services. I was new to Mental Health, but quickly realized the great work and the needs of our community for this service. I’m excited to be an operational champion for the Primary Care Behavioral Health model and cannot wait for the entirety of our clinicians and patients to feel the support and warmth of this incredible team-based care.
