Dr. Christina Eyman, DBH, MHA, serves as the Manager of Behavioral Health Integration at The Council on Recovery, where she supports the Center for Co-Occurring Disorders and oversees the Access and Experience Team. In this capacity, she is dedicated to enhancing patient journeys by ensuring seamless access to behavioral health services and promoting the integration of all aspects of care.
Christina earned her Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University. Her research focuses on innovative strategies for care integration, aiming to enhance access, improve patient outcomes, and boost provider and staff confidence in addressing the full spectrum of healthcare needs. Her extensive experience spans accountable care organizations (ACOs), value-based care models, analytics, readmission reduction programs, and post-acute care.
Beyond her role at The Council on Recovery, Christina is passionate about closing gaps in care and strengthening community well-being through the power of human connection. As co-chair of the Houston Area Suicide Prevention Coalition, she advocates for mental health awareness and fosters community and organizational engagement to ensure individuals have access to vital resources. Recognizing that relationships are central to healing, Christina emphasizes the importance of connection in all her initiatives. Additionally, she co-chairs the Research and Evaluation Committee for the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA), focusing on advancing integrated healthcare practices through targeted research and evaluation efforts.
