Margarida Holmes comes from a multicultural family and has lived in several countries, including Massachusetts since 1989. Margarida is dedicated to working with and for immigrants and underserved populations, destigmatizing mental health and substance use disorders, and providing resources that can help people navigate their struggles.
Margarida has Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Emmanuel College and is certified in Substance Use and HIV Counseling and Testing from Latino Health Institute and Center for Health Impact. She has applied this training in a range of mental health and social services settings. She is currently the Mental Health Care Partner Lead at Cambridge Health Alliance.
Margarida enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, the outdoors, reading and traveling the world for new experiences.
