Allen Garcia, PhD, he/him, is a bicultural and bilingual (Spanish) Pediatric Psychologist at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. He provides behavioral-health services in two integrated primary care clinics at Nemours. At Nemours, he is part of the psychology training team for different training levels, and he helps co-lead the Nemours Bilingual Seminar in which behavioral health providers practice speaking Spanish, share resources, and discuss cultural considerations relevant to children/adolescents/families in the Hispanic/Latine community in Delaware. He has helped co-lead a Project on behavioral health pediatric primary care ECHO for PCPs in the Nemours Delaware Valley. He is actively interested in research and quality improvement projects on improving practices within integrated primary care settings, applying acceptance and commitment therapy in clinical work, bilingual training, reducing school bullying, and evidence-based practices for ADHD.
