Anna Wood, PMHNP, CRNP is an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Merakey Behavioral Health, where she has worked for over a decade in their Community Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic. Anna has been working in the field of psychiatry for over 20 years, starting as a psychiatric nurse in her early 20s. Her nursing background includes geri-psychiatric inpatient, general inpatient psychiatric, and crisis center settings prior to working as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with adults with serious mental illness in the Community Behavioral Health setting. Anna has experience integrating behavioral health with primary care at two agencies now. Anna has been married 10 years and has two daughters, aged 6 and 9, and lives in the greater Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. Anna enjoys gardening, playing the piano, cooking, and generally living a holistic and spiritual life. Anna was born and spent her early years in North Carolina, home of the best barbeque in the country. She is happy to now reside in the best sports city in the world, the City of Brother Love and Sisterly Affection.
