Cyntoria Meaderds is a native of Chicago, IL, but currently resides in Nashville, TN. Cyntoria recently received my Doctorate in Behavioral Health Management from Arizona State University.
Cyntoria has worked professionally in the field of behavioral health for about seven years and has covered research, intervention, and community outreach with vulnerable populations that are impacted by substance use disorders, HIV, and mental health disorders with organizations such as CDC Foundation, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville Cares and several other organizations throughout Tennessee. In addition, Cyntoria has a huge heart dedicated to community service, advocates for mothers, and is a board member in nonprofits such as Infinite Possibilities, Minority Recovery Inc., and Cambridge Women's Center organizations. These organizations amplify minority voices and focus on initiatives that improve social and health conditions for vulnerable populations.
