Ludivina Hernandez is a Community Outreach Coordinator, Community Health Worker/ Promotora, CHW Instructor who has worked over 30 years with underserved communities in San Antonio, and the South Texas region. In 2014, joined the Bexar and Frio County Translational Advisory Boards due to alignment with the Community Health Worker ideals that improve physical, social, and mental health in the community. Ludy serves as a liaison between South Central Area Health Education Center and the Community Based Translational Research Initiatives to outreach and engage community groups. Collaborates with family medicine residents, and other health providers meeting people where they live to bring educational presentations on topics community members have identified as a concern to them.
