Ruth Morgan, MD, MS, FAAFP is a presently the Medical Director of Primary Care Services for the Center for Health Care Services, the Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) for Bexar County.
Dr. Morgan was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She received her A.B. from Dartmouth College, M.S. in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, and Postbaccularate Certificate from Bryn Mawr College.
She received her medical degree with a distinction in bioethics from Albany Medical College. She completed her residency at the Scripps Family Medicine Residency in Chula Vista, CA. As a family medicine physician, she is passionate about community medicine, working with underinsured populations and global health. She has participated in medical mission trips and education in Fiji, China, and Uganda. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Medical Society.
