Cyril Appiagyei, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist and co-founder of WOVEN Clinics, a telehealth-based psychiatric practice dedicated to innovating psychiatric care through behavioral health integration and partnerships with diverse health systems. His connection to medicine took root early, shaped by growing up around his family's primary care clinic on the Southside of Chicago. He earned his MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he served as class president and gained meaningful experience caring for patients at a county hospital. He completed his psychiatry residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, serving as Outpatient Chief Resident with a focus on enhancing the patient and provider experience, and was selected as an American Psychiatric Association Leadership Fellow. These experiences motivate and inform his work building scalable, community-centered models of psychiatric care at WOVEN Clinics.
