Sara Barker is the Associate Director for Implementation at the AIMS Center. She oversees an implementation team of trainers and practice coaches and a portfolio of projects around the country implementing behavioral health integration strategies. Sara has over 18 years of experience managing primary care practice transformation programs and initiatives on behavioral health integration, chronic disease management, clinical quality improvement, and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). Prior to joining the AIMS Center, Sara worked at the largest WA State federally qualified health center managing staff and teams responsible for behavioral health integration and care coordination in 25 medical clinics. Sara received her master’s in public health from the University of Washington and bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from Carleton College.
