Itzel Martinez Castillo is a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator at Access Community Health Centers, where she supports patients with connection to specialty mental health and substance use disorder services. Within the Collaborative Care Management program, Itzel works alongside the Primary Care Providers, Behavioral Health Consultants, and the Consulting Psychiatrist to support patients in addressing symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. Itzel earned her bachelor’s in social work at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Since then, Itzel has partnered with underserved and uninsured patients to work towards connection to various community resources and continues to be an advocate for equitable care for all.
