Dr. Amy Lang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychological and Behavioral Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is also a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois. Dr. Lang completed her graduate and post-graduate training at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, respectively. Dr. Lang's research focuses on the lived experiences of adolescents and young adults with chronic medical and psychological health conditions, with an emphasis on the promotion of self-management, health competence, and health-related quality of life during the transition from pediatric- to adult-focused health care.
