Paulo R. Pina, MD, MPH, is the Associate Chair of Pediatrics, Outpatient Operations, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Brown University and Hasbro Children's. He is a pediatrician and healthcare leader with expertise in ambulatory operations, implementation science, quality improvement, and health equity. His academic work focuses on improving pediatric primary care through innovative models of care, preventive services, and school readiness screening. Dr. Pina also leads multiple global health initiatives through the Cabo Verdean American Medical Society, advancing pediatric care, medical education, and research collaborations in Cabo Verde. He is committed to building learning health systems that improve outcomes for children and families both locally and globally.
