Laura Hunt Trull, PhD, MSW is an Associate Professor of Social Work in the College of Health Sciences and Research Faculty in the Division of Rural and Community Programs at Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Laura teaches Research Methods and Field Practicum Seminar in the Bachelor of Social Work program and provides research mentoring to medical students interested in Rural Health. Laura works in collaboration with students and community based programs such as charitable and rural health clinics, food pantries, social services, Senior Centers, and schools to improve quality of life and wellbeing in Tennessee and Appalachia.
