Dr. Charlotte Brown is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine before practicing general pediatrics in Colorado. She returned to Vanderbilt as faculty in 2015.
A committed medical educator and leader, Dr. Brown founded and co-directs the Vanderbilt Interprofessional Health Education Collaborative (VIPHEC), a program focused on advancing interprofessional learning and collaborative practice. She is also a co-founder and faculty member of the longitudinal Foundations of Physician Responsibility program and serves as Director of the Portfolio Coaching Program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
