Alyson Derhak is a full-time licensed marriage and family therapist at Strong Internal Medicine in Rochester, NY, a position she has held since September 2023. In this integrated medical setting, she offers therapy to individuals, couples, and families while working collaboratively with various healthcare professionals, including internal medicine residents, faculty physicians, nurses, and patient support staff.
Alyson’s foundational training in community mental health began as a Counseling & Community Works Intern at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center. She has been actively involved in strengthening the clinic's integrated care model through two iterations of the Practice Integration Profile (PIP), in 2024 and in 2026.
