Anthony Sossong, MD, MS is a physician executive. He serves as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Group President for Concert Health, the nation’s leading Collaborative Care organization. In these roles he drives clinical strategy at the enterprise level, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at the intersection of population health and healthcare technology, for an organization that has served more than 170,000 patients to date.

He maintains active faculty and clinical roles at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Across his medical career, he has held leadership roles spanning direct patient care, large-scale clinical delivery, payer strategy, and digital health innovation, with a consistent focus on clinical quality, governance, and accreditation. As Chief Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Amwell, he led 10x service-line growth during COVID-19, providing clinical leadership through an IPO and multiple M&A events while leading a national network of more than 3,000 clinicians. Earlier roles include physician leadership in behavioral health at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (now Point32Health). He also serves as Co-Investigator on a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) grant, in partnership with the University of Washington AIMS Center, implementing the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) for complex psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Sossong holds an MD from UCSF School of Medicine and an MS in Health and Medical Sciences. He completed a pediatrics internship, psychiatry residency, and child and adolescent fellowship in a combined program at Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. He is an Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a recipient of the NAMI Exemplary Psychiatrist Award, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with dual board certification. He holds active medical licensure in over 25 states.
