Dr. James is a licensed psychologist who earned her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia’s School Psychology Program. She completed her doctoral residency in Child Clinical and Pediatric Psychology at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, followed by a clinical fellowship in the areas of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and Hematology/Oncology at Greenville Children’s Hospital (Prisma) in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. James has authored and co-authored textbook chapters, journal articles, and scientific abstracts/conference presentations, and her scholarly work has typically centered on topics related to neurodevelopmental disabilities, assessment and treatment of pediatric behavior concerns, and medical treatment adherence. Dr. James is currently a BHC with Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) and serves as primary clinical supervisor for the pediatric rotation of CHCW’s APA-Accredited doctoral internship in Primary Care Behavioral Health (National Psychology Training Consortium, Cascades Region).
