Sungmin Pearl Park, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Family Therapy at Saint Louis University and Clinical Director of the Center for Counseling and Family Therapy. Her clinical and research interests focus on trauma, relational health, neurobiology, and the intergenerational transmission of adversity. Her work integrates family systems perspectives with neurobiological and trauma-informed approaches to advance accessible, evidence-informed behavioral healthcare. She is also the director of the BRIDGE Lab (Biological & Relational Impacts of Development, Generations, & Environments), where she conducts translational research examining the intersections of relationships, development, and biological processes.
