As Integrated & Whole Person Care Director, Mary Beth Callie manages the Zero-to Three HealthySteps and Collaborative Care programs at Callie Pediatrics, and leads behavioral health integration and implementation efforts. Since writing an honors thesis on Narrative and Medicine as an undergrad (at Holy Cross in Worcester, MA), her journey has come full circle--back to medicine, communication, and education, informed by all the experiences in between. She draws on her interdisciplinary PhD in Cultural Studies and writing/research skills to analyze and evaluate the impact of integrated care on patient outcomes, develop best practices, and advocate for policy changes that support integrated and whole person care.

Dr. Callie has been trained in the Brazelton Institute Touchpoints approach to early childhood, Collaborative Care (AIMS Center) Brief Interventions, First Approach Skills Training (FAST), Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT, University of New Mexico), and behavioral intervention through the Autism Partnership Foundation (AFT) in Seal Beach, CA.

Dr. Callie also earned a certificate in filmmaking from NYU and served as Associate Producer for the Katie Couric documentary film FED UP, on childhood obesity.
