Dr. Donovan Ellis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine and a licensed clinical psychologist. His clinical and research work focuses on expanding equitable access to evidence-based mental health care through digital mental health technologies, implementation science, and collaborative care models, with a particular emphasis on culturally responsive approaches for underserved populations. At Emory, Dr. Ellis leads initiatives integrating prescription digital therapeutics and digital navigation into behavioral health services to improve engagement, implementation, and population health outcomes. He has published on digital mental health, artificial intelligence in psychotherapy, and culturally responsive care, and his work bridges research and clinical innovation to advance scalable, sustainable behavioral healthcare.
