Jennifer N. Crawford, PhD, PMH-C is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Services and Research for Reproductive and Perinatal Mental Health and serves as Director for Interprofessional Collaboration in the Psychiatry Residency Training program. She is a K12 Scholar in the Southwest Center for Advancing Clinical and Translational Innovation (SW CACTI). She has a secondary appointment in the Obstetrics and Gynecology where she provides education and research mentorship related to women’s mental health. Dr. Crawford completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at UNM in 2016, including a predoctoral residency at the Salem VA in Virginia with a focus on interpersonal trauma and PTSD treatment, before completing an Advanced Fellowship in Women’s Health at the VA San Diego/UCSD in 2019, returning to UNM that same year. She Co-Directs the Journeys Perinatal Mental Health Clinic at UNM Hospital where she cares for patients and trains the next generation of perinatal mental health professionals.
