Dr. Cari Pittleman, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD), where she supports the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program and collaborates with the CIDD Collaborative Connections (C3Y) team to provide family-centered support for medically complex pediatric patients. Her clinical work is primarily based in the UNC Child Neurology Specialty Clinic, where she provides psychological consultation for a wide range of concerns, including aggressive behavior, school-related difficulties, adaptive skill delays, functional neurological disorders, mood disorders, and challenges related to health behaviors such as sleep, toileting, and eating. Dr. Pittleman earned her doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed both her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.
