Dr. Beckman completed a combined family medicine-psychiatry residency in Cincinnati, OH, at the University of Cincinnati/The Christ hospital, a program known for its dedication to underserved populations, both local and global, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Beckman has participated in integrated care development and iteration within both a large integrated health system and a large safety net healthcare system, collaborating within primary care and OBGYN, as well as specialized pain, pelvic pain and IPV-related programs. Prior to completing her medical degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Dr. Beckman worked as a mental health practitioner in a psychiatric crisis residence.
