Dr. Mabel Bongmba, MD, FAPA, is a board-certified psychiatrist and Psychiatric Consultant at Concert Health, where she partners with certified nurse midwives, OB-GYNs, pediatricians, and adult general practitioners through the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM). Before joining Concert, she developed and launched a CoCM program at Kaiser Permanente in Washington, giving her firsthand experience in what it takes to make integrated care work on the ground. A general psychiatrist by passion and practice, she treats patients across the lifespan. Dr. Bongmba earned her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, trained in psychiatry at San Mateo County Behavioral Health, where she served as chief resident, and completed a fellowship in integrated care at the University of Washington School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. With clinical experience spanning two decades, she is dedicated to helping care teams feel confident using practical, immediately applicable psychopharmacology in everyday practice.
