Briyanna Bullock is a doctoral candidate at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her M.Ed. from DePaul University and has received clinical training focused on trauma-informed care, adolescents, and families. Her clinical and research interests center on the intersection of health psychology and trauma, with a particular interest in understanding how trauma-informed approaches can be integrated across settings to support youth, families, and underserved populations.
Briyanna is currently completing interdisciplinary clinical training through the University of Chicago and UI Health, working within healthcare settings to provide care to youth and families. Her dissertation focuses on implementing trauma-informed care in schools, reflecting her broader interest in translating trauma-informed practices across systems, including educational and healthcare settings. Her current research explores attitudes and behaviors surrounding organ donation among minority populations, with an interest in understanding factors that may shape healthcare decision-making and contribute to health disparities.
