Dr. Lesley Manson, Psy.D. is an internationally recognized expert in integrated behavioral healthcare with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, healthcare management, and systems consultation. She specializes in building fiscally sustainable integrated care models with measurable improved health outcomes, return on investment, and cost savings. Dr. Manson has led multidisciplinary teams in process improvement, quality assurance, and standardization efforts that have enhanced healthcare outcomes, improved patient engagement, advanced health equity, and reduced costs.

As Associate Chair of Integrated Initiatives and Clinical Associate Professor at Arizona State University’s Doctor of Behavioral Health program, Dr. Manson has directed multiple doctoral and master’s-level training programs, course curriculum and design, and chaired hundreds of doctoral students. She serves as the Director of Training and Implementation Science for NCR Behavioral Health and is a master trainer in the PROSPER program (Proactive Reduction of Suicides in Populations via Evidence-Based Research). Additionally, she is a master trainer in motivational interviewing and in clinician-patient communication through the Institute for Healthcare Communication. Dr. Manson regularly leads, as a subject matter expert, national and international Project ECHOs focused on integrated care delivery and long-term sustainability.

Her work includes consultation with organizations such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, and numerous federal and medical associations. Dr. Manson has developed extensive training programs, train-the-trainer curricula, and continuing education for primary care and behavioral health professionals.

A former healthcare executive, she played a key role in developing integrated behavioral health components within electronic medical records and has presented internationally on the clinical and fiscal dimensions of healthcare integration. She is an active leader in professional organizations, having served as President of both the Arizona Psychological Association and the North Coast Association of Mental Health Professionals, and continues her board and committee work with the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA).

Dr. Manson earned her Health Care Executive Certification from the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program, where she was selected as one of only 40 participants nationwide. Participants, senior executives from community-based healthcare organizations, engage in a rigorous but relevant curriculum that provides the requisite skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully manage health care organizations. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications, book chapters, and is co-author of Integrating Behavioral Health into the Medical Home.
