Clinical Tools and Workflow Integration
This session focuses on selecting meaningful patient-reported outcome measures and integrating them into clinical workflows.
Participants will review different types of measures, including symptom measures, functioning measures, quality-of-life indicators, and therapeutic alliance tools. The session will explore how clinicians and leaders jointly make decisions about measure selection and how operational factors such as electronic health record compatibility influence implementation.
Participants will also examine how to interpret patient-reported data, including:
- Distinguishing meaningful change from statistical noise
- Interpreting worsening scores
- Addressing discrepancies between clinical impressions and measurement data
- Identifying unreliable or incomplete data
Examples of dashboards and data systems will be reviewed, including both manual and technology-integrated approaches.
Learning circles will be established during this session.
