Mrs. Martínez is a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) at a primary care clinic in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Martínez has wide clinical and professional experience ranging from behavioral health hospital settings, primary care clinics, skilled nursing facilities, the juvenile probation system, local mental health authorities, and college outreach programs otherwise known as TRiO. She has been utilizing the PCBH model since being trained as a BHC, and has since served as a PEP Primary Care internship site supervisor to support workforce development. Mrs. Martínez is also currently serving as a faculty member for the Behavioral Health Consultant Certificate Course offered through Mental Health America of Greater Houston.
