Sarah Stookey received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Temple University and obtained her first licensure 25 years ago. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in geriatric psychology and neuropsychology at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center and has worked extensively in the field of geriatric psychology, providing assessment, individual and group therapy to older adults in nursing homes, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Stookey has worked as a behavioral health consultant in programs that follow the Primary Care Behavioral Health model for the past 10 years. She is currently the national behavioral health specialist training lead for One Medical Senior Health, where
she provides direct services in a primary care clinic for older adults and serves on One Medical’s Geriatric Domain Work Group.
