Elizabeth Nikol, DBH, LCSW, A-CBT, Director of Behavioral Health currently oversees a large staff of clinicians, social workers and care navigators providing face to face or virtual cognitive behavioral therapy or integrated care to the patients of Summit Health In New York and New Jersey. She has clinical expertise in depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, adjustment to various health conditions, grief, weight loss issues, relationship conflicts, work issues, stress management and integrated care.

Dr. Nikol's professional experience includes developing and launching the Integrated Behavioral Health program at Summit Health in 2015, providing CBT and other solution focused therapies to a wide variety of patients, serving on the Credentialing Committee for the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, working as both Senior Counselor and Adjunct Professor for Saint Peter's University and providing breast cancer support groups to a variety of non-profits. She also supervises social workers who are working toward their clinical licenses. In a prior life, she was an HR Generalist and Corporate Trainer on Wall Street. Dr. Nikol has a DBH from Arizona State University, an MSW from Rutgers University and a Master's in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. In 2023, she was a recipient of the Integrated Health Excellence Award by Integrated Health Magazine.
